What Is Daybreak? Daybreak is a domestic violence gram providing temporary shelter to victims of domestic violence. Daybreak also provides counseling for shelter residents, information and referral services and a 24-hour crisis line. The shelter has staff 24 hours a day that can help victims utilize community resources. We do not disclose the location of the shelter to the public. Daybreak is committed to bringing about public recognition of the factors which lead to domestic violence. We believe that everyone is entitled in a safe, non-violent atmosphere. We believe every citizen should be protected from useless pain and violence. Daybreak does not discriminate basis of race, religion, sex, economic status or national origin
